Plot[]
Part One: Upset by all the shouting, Amy locks herself in the back room. Steve sends Becky away while he and Tracy camp in the hallway of the Rovers and attempt to coax Amy out. Becky's seething. Deirdre wonders what Tracy meant by the secret but Ken tells her it's none of their business. Amy wears earmuffs to close off the sound of her parents' pleading. Sophie assures Sian that Sally will overrule Kevin's suggestion. Tracy apologies to Steve for being too impulsive and not taking things slowly with Amy. Fiz takes John to the medical centre. Kevin's astounded by Sally's pettiness as she divides up the food by who paid for it. John visits Dr Carter and bares his soul about his sleepless nights due to a troubled conscience. Tracy expresses regrets and Steve hugs her. Becky watches from the bar, consumed with jealousy.
Part Two: Becky manages to talk Amy out of the back room, much to Tracy's chagrin. John has to stop himself from confessing his sins. Dr Carter prescribes him sleeping tablets and suggests counselling. John's scared by his close call. Becky wants Amy to remain at the Rovers where she's happy. Tracy's determined to take her back to No.1. Steve concedes that they have to compromise and lets Tracy have her way. Tracy threatens Becky with having Max taken away from her. Kevin's grateful when Rita shows him some kindness and invites him for a drink at Emily's house. Peter does exercises to regain his strength. Tracy suggests to him that she should move into the flat over the bookies but Leanne puts her foot down and forbids it. Tracy's annoyed. Fed up with the constant rowing, Sophie berates Kevin for his affair with Molly. Nick calls at No.1 to update Peter on the bookies. Leanne's angry when Tracy flirts with him and asks her for tips on seduce him. Ken and Deirdre are uncomfortable. John throws the pills to one side. Tracy delighted when she overhears Becky and Steve rowing in the Rovers' yard about his lack of backbone. Walking into the pub's yard, Tracy gleefully tells Becky that this will be her last Christmas as Mrs McDonald as she has her sights on Steve. Becky gears up for a battle.
