Plot[]
Part One: Kevin explodes when Sally and Rosie snub him in his own home. The Underworld girls spot him leaving No.4 and assume that Sally has taken him back. He is worried when Maria can't an answer at No.9 but she refuses his help. She tries to back door and finds it open. Tyrone is dazed in his own world within with Jack needing a feed. He admits he's not coping. Steve tells Becky he wants her to leave. She's gutted but puts on a brave face in front of Claire. Maria leaves to do Tyrone's shopping, advising him to get into the everyday jobs that just need doing. Anna's upset when Gary tells her to get off his case. Steve tells Becky he can never forgive him. Sally sets the gossiping Underworld workers straight, saying Kevin will be out as soon as he finds somewhere to stay. Tyrone's grateful for Maria's help but confesses to her that he can't look at Jack without thinking of Kevin.
Part Two: Without saying why, Becky tells Hayley that her marriage is finished. Worried that Gary's bottling up his troubles, Anna tells Izzy who agrees to call round and speak to her son. She does so, but he fails to answer the door. As she feeds Jack, Maria urges Tyrone to realise that he's the baby's proper father. A knock at the door interrupts them. It's Kevin. Maria tries to get rid of him, but Tyrone picks up the baby and with bitter words of hatred hands over him to Kevin, wanting nothing more to do with the pair of them. Kevin's stunned. Steve suggests to Claire that she could still take up her new life in France with the boys. Claire feels she'd be betraying Ashley by leaving the place he loved. The Websters are astonished when Kevin arrives home with Jack. Rosie can take no more and decides to live with Jason, who's somewhat dazed by the sudden announcement. Sally refuses to help Kevin to look after his lovechild. Kevin vows to do right by his son. Alone at home, Tyrone's anger and frustration comes pouring out and he furiously flings the Christmas tree across the room before bursting into tears.
