Plot[]
Part One: Tyrone is on edge on the day of Jack's funeral. Rita and Emily bring flowers round. Simon excitedly tells Ken how he's going to be Peter's assistant best man at the wedding to Ciaran. Leanne tells Peter she's feeling a lot better. Charlotte turns up at No.5 and tells John that she's going out of her mind worrying about the letters. John bundles her out of the door telling her that Fiz will be back any minute. He lets Chesney and Katy upstairs as they walk in and Charlotte secretly steals Chesney's keys off the table on her way out. Carla makes out to Peter that she's really worried about her drink-driving charge. She asks him to call round after the funeral on the pretence she needs moral support. A suspicious Michelle watches them talking. Tyrone has trouble composing his eulogy and Rita advises him to follow his heart. The cortege sets off to applause from the neighbours.
Part Two: Tyrone, Ashley, Kirk, Peter, Steve and Kevin carry Jack's coffin into the crematorium to the music of Father and Son. Claire changes her seat and sits next to Ashley. Nick sees that Leanne is making sure they never work the same shift on the rotas. Tyrone gives a heartfelt impromptu eulogy which ends when he breaks down in tears. Kevin steps up to comfort him. Eddie and Anna visit Gary at hospital in Birmingham. Eddie's moved to tears. The funeral party gathers in the Rovers to a buffet prepared by Betty. Jim is despondent, feeling he's blown things forever with Liz. Molly thanks Kevin for supporting Tyrone, saying he reminded her of the kindess she once knew him for. Fiz finds Chesney and Katy on the sofa in a state of undress. Angrily she suggests they should stop seeing each other. Chesney declares he's moving out. Jack's death makes Claire realise how important Ashley is to her. He's so relieved they're back together he agrees to move to France. Claire's thrilled. Peter arrives at Carla's flat to find her wearing only a towel. Peter refuses to be seduced and leaves, telling Carla he loves Leanne and he's going to marry her. Carla just stops herself saying anything about Nick. The regulars raise their glasses to Jack after a speech from Kevin. Tyrone tells Molly that he loves her more than ever and reckons they should have another baby.
