Plot[]

Part One: Tyrone has trouble facing the organisation of the funeral. Peter suggests that Leanne wears a stunning dress for the grand opening of The Joinery. Tyrone can't understand why Kevin has been avoiding him. Molly suggests she goes and sees him. As Nick and Ciaran prepare for the opening party, Leanne arrives looking amazing, and tells them that she’s persuaded Peter to attend. She has also organised press photographers. A struggling Carla needs to speak to Peter, but he has his hands full. Tyrone calls at the garage. Kevin apologises for failing to call round. Nick gives the bar staff a pep talk, and they raise a toast to Leanne for the work she’s put in. Sally arrives at the garage with a beef stew for Tyrone and Molly. Tyrone insists she and Kevin come round for dinner so they can share it. Peter provides a red carpet for the opening party. Carla and Michelle are amused to see Janice struggling in high heels on the cobbles and trying to smuggle her own cheap drink in. Nick watches in envy as Peter carries Leanne in across the threshold. Over dinner, Tyrone discusses Jack's funeral. Sally assures him that whatever decisions he makes they'll be the right ones. Rosie enjoys posing for the photographers. Carla chats to Peter at the party, tempted by the glasses on champagne. She feels jealous when he returns to Leanne and downs one of the glasses herself.

Part Two: Fiz is worried when she receives an anonymous letter addressed to herself. Cheryl's unhappy when Chris turns up at the party and sneers at her. Carla knocks back the drinks. Ken turns up at the party to wish Peter and Leanne well. Peter's grateful for his support. Leanne and Nick schmooze with Trish Brooks-Benson, a reporter from the Weatherfield Gazette, in the hopes of a great write-up. Maria avoids Chris at the party. Kevin is silent at the meal. Peter gets an emergency call and leaves the party without saying anything. Fiz shows John the letter which reads “Your husband needs detention. I need justice.” John assures her it's from a crank and insists he’s burning it. Taking Kevin to one side, Molly begs him to get a grip and start acting normally. Trish has enjoyed the party. Leanne is delighted but wonders where Peter has got to. He arrives at the police station where he finds Carla's been arrested for drink-driving.
