Plot[]
Part One: The next morning, Tyrone's grief-stricken, wishing he'd had a chance to say goodbye to Jack. Having stayed over, Connie does her best to comfort him. Nick's frosty towards Leanne as they prepare for the opening tomorrow night. Molly tells Kevin about Jack and that he knew he was the father of the baby. Kevin's shocked but Molly assures him that Jack kept it to himself, whilst berating him for only worrying about himself. Connie breaks down in The Kabin as she passes on the news to a stunned Rita and Emily. Owen's been given a free ticket to The Joinery's opening. Chris advises him not to go as it will anger Liz. Rita offers Tyrone words of comfort. Molly cries when a professional photo is delivered with Jack and the baby.
Part Two: Nick agrees with Leanne that if they're going to continue being business partners, he needs to put his feelings for her to one side, but it's clear he's struggling. Steve calls on Tyrone to express his condolences and suggests he comes to the Rovers later on. Jack's last horse comes in at 3-1 odds and Peter decides to give the winnings to Tyrone. Anna is on pins as it's Gary's first day on patrol in Afghanistan. Sophie and Sian approach Emily in the cafe and ask about the pastor's reaction to their homosexuality. Still upset about Jack, she can't deal with the revelation that Sophie is a lesbian and leaves in a hurry. Tyrone's overwhelmed as all his friends offer their condolences in the Rovers. Steve tells him that he's asked the brewery to name a barrel of beer in Jack's name in time for the funeral. Leanne asks Peter to be by her side at the opening party. He's touched that she's willing to put such faith in him after the disastrous hard-hat party. Tyrone tells Rita how Jack recently named one of his pigeons "Racy Rita" after her. Leanne isn't happy to hear that Owen has given his ticket to Chris, knowing Cheryl will be behind the bar. Peter gives Jack's winnings to Tyrone. Kevin, tormented by his own guilt, can barely look at his friend. Claire remains cold towards Ashley. Emily feels guilty over how she reacted to Sophie and Sian. Rita does her best to reassure her. Sophie feels rejected. Emily, Rita and Sally find out that Jack was their benefactor with their gifts. They raise their glasses to him. Molly's emotionally fraught as she tells Kevin she's sick of the hypocrisy and can no longer live like this.
