Plot[]
Part One: Eddie pinches a bouquet of flowers from the factory steps. Audrey collects a depressed David to take him to his rescheduled court hearing. All he cares about it proving his innocence to Graeme. Ashley has spent the night on the sofa. Becky plans to take Amy and Max to Chester Zoo. Graeme is discharged. Tina wants him to go to court with her but he's reluctant. Eddie gives the flowers to a happy Anna, pretending he bought them. Chris tells Cheryl how Lloyd scuppered his chances with Maria by blackening his name. Ready to set off for the zoo, Becky suddenly catches sight of a letter and panics. Tyrone and Molly agree to book the christening sooner rather than later so Jack can be there. Becky tells Steve that letter is from social services, sent to Kylie some days before, informing her that she'll be receiving a visit from the social worker that day..
Part Two: Becky frets about the visit and wonders how she can cover up for the fact Kylie's done a runner to Ayia Napa. Graeme arrives home from hospital and he and Tina bump into Gail who reiterates David's innocence. Jack's touched about the christening move and insists he's paying for the buffet in the Rovers. Cheryl makes it clear to Lloyd she's not happy with his interfering but he's unrepentant. Anna finds a card in the flowers which reads "rest in peace". She batters Eddie with the bouquet. Audrey returns from court and tells Gail that the case has been sent for trial and he's awarded bail on condition he lives at Audrey's house as he must stay away from Graeme and Tina. Steve and Becky are still out of ideas with how to cope with the social visit. Ashley suggests they have a holiday but Claire's unimpressed. Gail is upset that David is moving out and takes her temper out on Audrey until she points out that she's saved him from being imprisoned on remand. Miriam the social worker arrives at the Rovers. She explains how Kylie's normal social worker has been taken ill and she's standing in. Becky seizes the chance and lies to her, introducing herself as Kylie. Steve listens with incredulity.
