Plot[]

Part One: Tina cries over Graeme's body, praying he's still alive. Roy phones for an ambulance while a shocked Audrey sees the aftermath after hearing the commotion from the salon. Sophie and Sian return to find the burnt out kitchen full of smoke and soot but a crying Rosie's more concerned about the state of her clothes. Lloyd summons Gail. David regains consciousness and maintains that he doesn't remember anything about the accident. Tina accuses him of trying to murder Graeme as the ambulance draws up. As Joshua and Freddie create a row, Mr and Mrs Withers make disparaging comments about the house. Claire abandons them when Ashley rings with news of the crash. The breathalyser test on David is clear but he insists he has no memory of the crash and is taken to hospital for a check-up. Sophie and Sian try in vain to clean up No.4 while Rosie feels sorry for herself. Julie wonders where Brian has got to. John and Fiz lie, saying he's probably gone back to his wife. Julie's disappointed and leaves. Brian emerges from hiding under the stairs. Graeme is rushed into casualty.

Part Two: Brian ignores the hints to return to his wife. Gail worries about Tina's accusation. Claire thinks Tina might be right. Rosie tries in vain to persuade any of her admirers to redecorate the kitchen for her, much to Sophie and Sian's amusement. Hayley consoles Roy over the shock of seeing the aftermath of the accident. David is examined but refuses the advice that he stays in overnight for monitoring. Fiz phones Brian's wife and persuades her to take him back, telling her how much he misses her, and that Julie flung herself at her disinterested husband. Tina tells the police that David deliberately tried to kill Graeme. The doctor tells Tina that Graeme has sustained a broken ankle, ribs, a punctured lung, internal bleeding and has possible neck and spinal injuries. A shocked David and Gail overhear the diagnosis. After a phone call from Margaret, Brian decides to return home and give his marriage another go. Rosie feels sorry for herself. John and Fiz are mightily relieved to say goodbye to Brian. Julie bursts in crying that she's lost out on love again. Claire makes sure the police know about David and Graeme's fight. David bumps into Tina in the corridor. He swears to her it was an accident but Tina's disbelieving and promises him that if Graeme dies, she'll make sure he goes down for murder.
