Plot[]
Part One: Tina finds Graeme missing from the flat. Julie calls for Fiz and is surprised to see Brian asleep on the sofa. John explains how Margaret has kicked him out and Fiz says he'll be leaving soon. Tina finds a sullen Graeme out early on his window-cleaning and insists that David has learned his lesson. A nervous Sally asks Rita to keep an eye on Rosie, Sophie and Sian while she and Kevin go to Madrid to celebrate their anniversary. John tries to persuade Brian to go out and enjoy life but is told that he's the only friend he has. Fiz tries to convince Julie she's better off without old, married Brian but a lonely Julie reckons they're soul mates. Oblivious of the hatred bubbling beneath the surface, David tries to chat to Graeme in the Rovers. Unable to contain his anger, Graeme tells David how he knows he nearly raped Tina and can't help but go for him. Dev drags Graeme out on Steve's orders.
Part Two: Hearing the altercation, Tina's cross with Graeme for breaking his promise. Claire tells him not to return to work until he's calmed down. Fiz finds Brian helping out a reluctant John in the bookies. He's determined to return to Julie and John and Fiz do their best to convince him that she's a bunny boiler. They make up scandalous stories about things she did to ex-boyfriends. Brian's worried. While still angry, Tina's touched that Graeme stuck up for her against David. Gail confronts David in the salon wanting to know why he's been fighting. David refuses to answer, grabs Audrey's car keys and storms out. Gail tries to stop him, but David drives off at speed. Julie calls to Brian through the letterbox at No.5, suggesting they start afresh. Brian quakes with fear. Gail stops Audrey ringing the police. Claire shows some prospective buyers round No.13 whilst attempting to quieten the boys. Whilst trying to cook, Rosie sets fire to No.4's kitchen when distracted by Rita at the door. As Graeme leaves the butchers, a car hurtles towards him and knocks him flying. Ashley is horrified to see that the unconscious driver is David.
