Plot[]
Part One: Peter gets in the car with an astonished Carla and takes the keys out of the ignition. Dr Carter tells Molly that Jack only has a milk rash and it's not serious. She feels uncomfortable with Sally's support. Peter persuades an ashamed Carla not to drive off and calls a taxi to take her home. He gives his number to her and tells her to call him anytime if she needs support. Becky's put out when a celebrating Eddie and Anna reveal that they have been approved to adopt. Kirk canvasses seduction tips from Tyrone without stating that he's doing so on behalf of Chesney. Ryan asks Michelle if he can go for a night out in Glasgow with Ciaran. Michelle's not keen. Trevor collects the rest of his belongings from Carla's flat where she's pouring herself another wine. Kirk next asks Owen. Kylie can see that Becky's upset by Eddie going on about their success. When he makes an ill-judged remark, Kylie furiously bars him from the Rovers. Becky backs her up. Anna's embarrassed while Steve's annoyed. Carla's sorry things didn't work out. Trevor casually warns her about her drinking as he leaves.
Part Two: Michelle is forced to back down when Ciaran promises to look after Ryan and they leave. Peter receives a call from a distressed Carla. Having agreed not to tell Leanne about her problem, he instead tells her that he's going to see a mate, Carl, from his support group. Dev joins in with his seduction tips. When she hears about Kirk's survey from Tyrone, Izzy fears he may be planning to seduce her. Steve is worried how people will view Eddie being barred when his son has just left for Afghanistan. Peter finds Carla at her flat in a state. He talks to her about how his drinking spiralled out of control and advises her to identify the real problem behind it. Steve takes a reluctant Becky to No.6 to apologise to Eddie and Anna and unbar them. Anna is upset when Becky asks after Gary. Carla knows her problem is still Liam. Peter assures her that she has a lot to live for and promises to help her every step of the way. Tyrone feels they are indebted to Sally for her help. Jack's thoughtful. Carla falls asleep on the sofa. Feeling unable to leave her, Peter phones Leanne and tells her that he's stopping with his mate.
