Plot[]

Part One: Nick's relieved when Natasha finally answers and agrees to marry him. The factory girls are delighted, except for Fiz. Norris fears for his laptop which has got wet in the flood. Rita's bathroom has been flooded. Owen tells Liz that Eileen has said there's no hard feelings. Graeme and Tina feel guilty. Mikey shows Sian and Sophie to his decrepit student house. Rita wonders if she's been too accommodating towards the young couple but Emily sticks up for them. Gail walks into the salon to find Nick and Natasha are engaged and showing off the ring. She's annoyed that nobody told her. Audrey chastises her for failing to congratulate the happy couple. Owen invites a pleased Chesney to his birthday drink. Kirk goes to the police station about the assault charge. Fiz tells an angry Natasha to go through with her decision to confess to Nick. When Natasha stalls, Fiz accuses her of being greedy and says she's finished with her.

Part Two: Owen celebrates his birthday in the Rovers, while Nick and Natasha raise a glass to their engagement. Gail turns up and Nick tells her to like it or lump it. Sophie is ill at ease in the student house and wonders if home was really that bad. Sian says that at least here they can be together. Kirk returns a free man due to insufficient evidence. Gary is grateful. Katy snogs Chesney in front of an annoyed Owen. Liz suggests he retaliates and they kiss, just as Eileen walks in. Liz apologises but Eileen wishes her well with Owen. Gail thinks something isn't right about Natasha. Audrey tells her to leave. Peter and Leanne congratulate Nick and Natasha. Owen asks Eileen to check on the yard as the police have reported the alarm going off. Gail accesses Natasha's records in the medical centre. Eileen notices the petty cash tin has been left out in the yard. She locks it away. Kylie tries to chat up Gary but he snubs her in favour of Izzy. She tries to chat up David instead. Audrey finds Gail in the centre. Gail's stunned to learn that Natasha had an abortion and is not pregnant. She vows to tell Nick.
