Plot

Sean sees Liz and Owen kissing in the ginnel after emerging from the Rovers. Natasha is overcome when Audrey talks about Nick as a baby. Liz notices the money missing from the till and decides to question the staff. Betty is offended. Nick continues to mock Trevor at the factory. Trev is embarrassed when he rips through a box of material, tearing hundreds of pounds worth of silk. Kylie gives Becky a present as a thank you for helping her and Max. Natasha can't bear to hear Gail and Audrey talk about the baby and excuses herself. Nick thinks Gail has upset her. Liz accuses Kylie of taking the money but Becky defends her. Kylie says she doesn't need the money as she has a job. Izzy catches Katy bunking off school and worries that Chesney is a bad influence. Anna doesn't want Gary to go to prison but doesn't want him to go to war either. Sean tackles Ciaran about Liz and Owen's relationship but Ciaran doesn't know anything. Steve sees Kylie taking money from Becky's purse. Kirk goes to the police station and confesses to the assault Gary is charged with. Steve tells Kylie he's going to tell Becky what he saw but is surprised when Kylie offers herself to him.

Notes

Betty claims in this episode that she has never been accused of stealing from the Rovers. However, she was accused twice by Annie Walker, in December 1969 and again in 1977. Both times she was innocent.
