Plot[]
Part One: John rings Colin, desperately trying to tell him he doesn't have £2,000 for him. An oblivious Fiz tells him not to get involved in other people's problems. Gail has an old computer going from work and David suggests they install it at the salon. Sean admits to Michelle that although he's deleted Liz's contact details from the page he set up in her name, Violet responded and "Liz" told her off for denying him access to Dylan. John desperately tries to borrow £2,000 but with no success. Roy and Hayley set up the cafe for Chesney's party. Lloyd takes Russ shopping for new football boots. Kirk buys vodka for the punch but also finds himself agreeing to watch out for booze being smuggled in when Fiz asks him. A depressed John explains to Charlotte how Colin's trying to blackmail him. She's shocked to hear that he was on suicide watch when he was in prison. Audrey gets a vying Natasha and Maria to input all her client details on the computer. Charlotte and John arrange to meet Colin at 6.30pm with some of his money.
Part Two: Michelle's thrown when Violet phones the Rovers asking for Liz who is puzzled to hear about the message she supposedly sent. Audrey and Lewis say goodbye to Ken and Deirdre as they set off for Greece. Deirdre's clearly envious. Liz overhears Michelle desperately trying to contact Sean and realises he's behind the false Facescene page. John hurries Fiz and Chesney out of the house for the party and then lets Charlotte in through the back door with £500 for Colin and a list of cheap flights to Canada. John hopes it'll be enough. Liz tells Sean that she's uncovered his deception and he's sacked. Sean's gutted. Colin arrives and Charlotte insists he gives John a hearing. Chesney's birthday party is in full swing as Kirk spikes the punch. With the boots bought, Cheryl, Lloyd and Russ set off for the kebab shop but they're shocked when they bump into Cheryl's husband Chris. Colin tells John and Charlotte that £500 isn't enough. He starts to phone the police intent on reporting John for identity fraud but in a sudden fit of rage he collapses and dies on the spot. John and Charlotte are panic-stricken.
