Plot[]

Part One: Audrey storms out of the flat while Norris rushes up to see if Rita is okay. Ryan and Sian's reconciliation is short-lived when Sian accuses him of being interested in Tamsin. A desperately upset Rita tells Norris to mind his own business. The parents gather in the yard of No.13 during Joshua's birthday party. The dads want to move on to the Rovers. Sian insists to Sophie that she's off men. A tense Rita goes for a vodka in the Rovers, hiding herself in a booth when the party men burst in. Steve chats about parenting with the other dads. Tyrone wants lots of kids. Ashley reports that he was happy as an adopted child making Steve thoughtful. Back at No.13, Becky tells Sunita, Claire and Leanne about wanting to adopt and Steve's qualms. They fail to spot Asha eavesdropping. Emily finds Rita in the pub, having heard from Norris about the row. Audrey walks in with Nick and the insults continue to fly. Rita walks out. Leanne startles Peter by expressing a wish to be regarded as Simon's mum. Audrey catches up with Rita and the row continues outside her flat where Norris overhears Rita describe Lewis as a gigolo.

Part Two: Norris sends Mary home so he and Rita can talk. She regrets falling out with an old friend alough admitting to feeling lonely. Peter goes for a night out with friends and Leanne's left wondering if she's scared him off. Trevor tells the men in the Rovers about his trip to South Africa for the World Cup. Sophie tries to cheer Ryan up. He misreads her hug and tries to kiss her. Sophie's furious and pushes him away. Norris assures Rita of his discretion. He suggests she could return to work at The Kabin once he returns from his Bronte country trip with Mary. Rita agrees to consider it. Audrey also regrets her harsh words as she tells Nick about Lewis without mentioning he's an escort. Nick assures her that whatever happens, she will always have her family. Becky and Steve are taken aback when Amy asks when she is getting an older sister. Steve tells her they are thinking about it. Becky's pleased. Leanne's concerned when Janice reveals that Ciaran's working in the pub and there was no sign of Peter. Leanne wonders if he is seeing another woman.

Final appearance of Amber Chadwick in the role of Amy Barlow. When the character next appeared on 3rd May 2010 she was played by Elle Mulvaney.
Claire Peacock mentions the occasion when in a depressed state she dumped Freddie at Weatherfield General as she was convinced that he wasn't her baby, and thus referencing the events of Episode 6378 (11th September 2006).
