Plot[]

Part One: Jason is unconscious. Bill rushes off to get help. Becky's angry to be told that she can never be a mother and storms out. Bill summons Roy to administer first aid to Jason as he regains consciousness. They are shocked to realise that he has lost his memory and can't recall splitting with Tina. Rita has a grand time at the Palace Theatre with Lewis watching Whistle Down the Wind. Returning to the Rovers, Becky asks Steve not to tell anyone about the diagnosis. Almost immediately, he tells Liz everything. Rung by Bill, Eileen joins them at the medical centre. Jason's also forgotten that Gail is in prison. Steve tries to reassure Becky that it's not the end of the world but it's clear that she has taken the news hard.

Part Two: Jason is checked up and discharged. Eileen tries to remind him about his row with Tina but he doesn't believe her. Becky reckons she's being punished for her former wild lifestyle. She suddenly fears that Steve will dump her like he did Karen when she miscarried. Steve dismisses her fears but she's still inconsolable. While Rita is powdering her nose, Lewis receives a phone message from Audrey asking if he is free tonight. Sunita's keen to make an offer for No.7 but Dev refuses to live in a poky terrace. In the pub, Sunita recruits Claire and Ashley to help with her argument and helpless Dev finds himself outnumbered. Lewis rings Audrey back and invites her to see the evening show. He asks the usher for two more complimentary tickets. Returning, Rita invites him to an Easter Chamber of Commerce dinner dance and he happily accepts the booking. Eileen tells Tina about Jason's memory loss. Suspecting a ruse, she marches over to see him. Eileen's astounded when Jason remembers breaking up with Tina, his memory restored. Tina's unimpressed, thinking Eileen's trying to play cupid. Steve assures Becky that she will always have him. Dev gives up and agrees to make Maria an offer. Audrey turns up for her date with Lewis. When she asks, he has to tell her that he's booked up on Easter Sunday. Steve confides in Liz that he's worried that Becky will press the self-destruct button and secretly gutted he will have no more children.

Steve McDonald tells Becky that he and Karen split up when she torched his car and made him think that Amy Barlow was inside the vehicle, referring to the events of Episode 5922 (24th December 2004).
