Plot[]
Part One: Gail decides to return to work as she can't face another day staring at four walls. Tina's mind constantly turns over what her dad suffered. Leanne's received a text from George saying he's returning from Spain today but Peter's in a foul mood as he isn't responding to his messages. Dev's blissfully happy as he and Sunita enjoy breakfast with the twins. Teresa arrives for work at Underworld. She's put out when Carla tells her that she's employing her as a cleaner. Kelly and Janice gloat. Gail thanks David for all his support. Becky returns to the bar and tries to carry on as normal but is forced to tell Claire about the miscarriage when she calls with some of Freddie's old clothes. Sunita drops herself in it when she meets John and, not knowing who he is, talks about Fiz's nutty boyfriend who she read about in the papers. Graeme boasts about Candy, a girl that gave him her number in a club after he lent her £20. He's worried as Kirk also fancied her. Norris refuses to celebrate his 70th birthday despite Emily and Mary's protestations. Rita sends him a joke card. The forensic report shows signs of a struggle on Gale Force. DC Glynn and DS Carr review Gail's version of events before deciding that it doesn't add up and decide to bring her in.
Part Two: Liz watches as Becky continues to behave coldly towards Steve. Dev finds out that Kirk also lent the girl £20 and obtained her number from her. Steve tells Liz that Becky thinks he's blaming her for the miscarriage. Graeme and Kirk find that they have both been fooled by Candy who gave the two lads each other's numbers. John helps Claire compose a protest letter and she flatters him as she praises his teaching skills. He admits he misses the profession. Liz confides in Becky about her daughter Katy, who died after a day. Liz tells Becky such tragedies can destroy a couple, as it did her and Jim in time, or make them stronger. Stunned by the revelation, Becky's thoughtful. Teresa finishes cleaning, having made a good job of it. Kelly secretly spills her coffee on the floor to spoil her efforts. Carla's unimpressed by Teresa's sloppy work when she sees it. Leanne tells Peter that she's frightened he's not feeling as well as he claims. George rings to say he's back from Spain, and they set off to collect Simon, even though George thinks they ought to wait until tomorrow.
