Plot[]

Part One: Although she claims it's a waste of time, Becky agrees to go and get checked out. Peter's keen to go to the airport to meet Simon. Leanne's concerned when he appears agitated. Mary helps out a busy Norris in The Kabin, even though he doesn't want her there. Audrey and David try to talk Gail round as she continues to blame herself for Joe's demise. Dev celebrates his birthday and excitedly tells Molly that Sunita and the twins are coming round for a meal. Tina asks to return to work after the funeral and tells an amazed Norris and Mary that Gail sent her a text and flowers to stop her from looking for Joe. The doctor tells Becky that she's fine. Hayley tells her that she shouldn't see her miscarriage as a sign that fate says she's never to be a mother. In The Kabin, Audrey tells a stunned Tina that the police suspect that Joe was murdered by Rick.

Part Two: Norris tries to spread the gossip about Joe and Rick. Liz tells Steve he should grieve properly and not hide his feelings. Kelly mocks Teresa's lack of employment. Teresa retaliates and insists she will find a job before the day is out. They make a £10 bet on it. Jason wonders why Rick came looking for Joe if he knew he was dead. Putting on a front, Becky goes out shopping. Tina visits Gail. She thinks Joe followed them to the Lake District and David speculates that he "looked" for Joe afterwards to cover his tracks. Tina sees that Gail is truly grief-stricken and apologises to her. An agitated Peter returns from the airport with the news that George and Simon have not arrived. He urgently tries to contact him. Roy refuses to take Teresa on. She pretends to be interviewed by Carla at the factory to put Kelly off from sniping at her. Carla's amused by her cheek and tells her to start in the morning. Kelly and Teresa are astonished, and Kelly loses the bet. When Becky returns from her shopping, Steve tries to get Becky to open up about her loss. He tries to reassure her that they can always try for another baby. She disagrees, insisting she blew her one chance. Dev enjoys his birthday meal. He's delighted when Sunita agrees to stay the night in his bed. The police receive the document from the insurance company bearing Gail's signature.
