Plot[]
Part One: The police have identified Joe's body. Janice is pleased when Trevor tells her that he's not missing his girlfriend, Michaela. Tyrone is hopeful of a reconciliation when Molly calls round for her post. On their way to the factory, Janice and Kelly gossip with Trevor about their respective awful bosses. Gary and Quinny set off for a day in Manchester. Tina leaves a message on Joe's mobile threatening to report him to the police. Natasha comes into The Kabin and Norris and Mary gossip to her about Audrey and Lewis. Norris recalls where he met him before. He tells them that Lewis has a wife called Claudia and infers that Audrey must be his mistress. Mary makes an immediate appointment at the salon to investigate. Kevin gives a miserable Tyrone the afternoon off. Carla is fed up when the factory cleaner fails to turn in for work and asks for volunteers to do the task. David beseeches Gail to tell the police about Joe's plan but she refuses.
Part Two: As Natasha cuts Mary's hair, they quiz Audrey about Lewis, but she evades answering, increasing their suspicions. Kevin tells Jack and Connie how depressed Tyrone is. Audrey follows Gail into the Rovers, where Norris asks them questions about the police visit to No.8 and who Lewis is. Dev and Sunita enjoy having fooled Grishma and Upma. Molly sees how much closer they seem. The factory staff rush out for lunch, leaving Carla to do the cleaning herself. Tina tells Gail she is going to call the police, but Gail instructs her not to. She lies about knowing anything about her birthday text from her dad. Trevor calls into the factory looking for Janice and, thinking Carla's the cleaner, unwittingly tells her about Janice and Kelly's low opinion of her. Jack tries to cheer up Tyrone while Connie tidies No.9 for him. Gary and Quinny's day of leisure is rudely curtailed when Quinny receives a phone call from his mother telling him that his army brother's lost his legs in a roadside bomb attack. Sunita's startled when Matt turns up on her doorstep. The police arrive at No.8 and inform a stunned Gail that Joe's body has been discovered in Lake Windermere.
