Plot[]
Part One: Kevin's furious with Rosie who refuses to change her mind about the operation. Sophie intervenes, worried that he might hit her sister. He storms out of the house. Back inside No.8, Gail tells Audrey and David what caused the row with Joe. George approves of the hard-hat party. Becky is withdrawn in the bar as an excited Steve and Kelly return to the Rovers. Tyrone and Kevin drown their sorrows in the Rovers. Eddie joins them. Audrey advises Gail to find out what's really troubling Joe just before he sheepishly returns from a walk by the canal. David and Audrey give them space to talk. He agrees to tell his wife the full truth about his debts. Michelle is angry that Kelly is showing off about the ride in front of Becky. Molly agrees to remain in the pub when she enters and sees Tyrone. She even accepts a drink off him. Steve takes Kelly up to the flat in front of a simmering Becky.
Part Two: A tipsy Steve and Kelly knock back shots in the flat. Steve admits to her that he's still in love with Becky. Joe comes clean and tells a shocked Gail how he's living in fear of Rick Neelan. Rosie explains to Sophie how she wants to make something of herself and if that means using her body to get herself noticed then so be it. Unable to drink anymore, Kelly leaves Steve on his own. She drops hints to Becky that Steve has the hots for her. Molly also leaves the pub to go back home. Eddie and Lloyd are amused to see a photo of Rosie in a bikini on the peanut card in the Rovers. Returning from a parents' evening, George again suggests to Peter that Simon should be at private school. Gail is upset at the lies she's been told. Joe tries to convince her they can still make a go of their marriage. Gail's not so sure. Kevin sees the peanut card and goes for Eddie when he makes light of it. Angry, he snatches the card and marches home with it. Becky hits Steve when she sees lipstick on his face. Steve almost tells Becky that he still loves her. Kevin confronts Rosie with the peanut card photo and asks her if she's considered doing pornographic magazines. Sophie tells him to stop shouting at the pair of them all the time. Becky sits and cries in the Rovers' yard with a bag of belongings.
