Plot[]

Ted's in hospital having suffered a heart attack. David sits anxiously at his bedside. Simon refuses to go to school until he's seen Peter. Ken manages to cajole him into going. Gary arrives home with Len. They lie to Eddie and Anna saying how Gary spent the evening with Len and had nothing to do with any burglary. Steve persuades Betty to come back to work. She agrees but she and Poppy continue to bicker behind the bar. The police interview Ted and he tells them how he recognised Gary as the burglar. Joe tells Eddie and Anna how Ted's had a heart attack as a result of the burglary and that Gary is responsible. Bill and Pam agree to meet up with Gilbert and Vanessa on condition they go together. Peter arrives back and tells Ken, Deirdre and Blanche how he attended the alcoholics' meeting and accepts that he has a problem. David and Graeme watch as the police turn up at No.6 and arrest Gary. David's gleeful whilst Graeme warns him they could be in trouble once Gary realises how he was set up.
