Plot

Mary enthusiastically tells Emily about her culinary skills and offers to cook her breakfast. Joe's pleased when Jason gives him £1,000 cash from the kitchen work. Joe gives David £500 to pay into the bank and surreptitiously gives the other £500 to the loan shark. Gail asks some awkward questions but Joe's evasive. Dev tries to make things up with Amber but she's unforgiving and refuses to listen to him. David flashes the £500 in front of Gary making him think it's money he's made from selling the "stolen goods". Gary's impressed. Mary entertains Norris to dinner in the motorhome. Dressed in a negligee, Mary tries to flirt with Norris. He rushes his meal and leaves. Mary's crestfallen. Jason and Julie go to visit Colin in hospital. They're horrified to find he's intent on discharging himself. In desperation, Jason tells him that he can come home with him. Poppy apologises to Dev for telling Tara about his fling with Lisa. Eileen arrives home and is furious to find Colin there. Jason begs her to show some compassion for her ill father. Under pressure, Eileen agrees he can stay just one night.

Joe gives [[David Platt|David]] £500 to pay into the bank and surreptitiously gives the other £500 to the loan shark. [[Gail Platt|Gail]] asks some awkward questions but Joe's evasive. [[Dev Alahan|Dev]] tries to make things up with [[Amber Kalirai|Amber]] but she's unforgiving and refuses to listen to him. David flashes the £500 in front of [[Gary Windass|Gary]] making him think it's money he's made from selling the "stolen goods". Gary's impressed. Mary entertains Norris to dinner in the motorhome. [[Poppy Morales|Poppy]] apologises to Dev for telling [[Tara Mandal|Tara]] about his fling with [[Lisa Dalton|Lisa]]. [[Eileen Grimshaw|Eileen]] arrives home and is furious to find Colin there. Jason begs her to show some compassion for her ill father. Under pressure, Eileen agrees he can stay just one night.
-When [[Jason Grimshaw|Jason]] and [[Julie Carp|Julie]] hear that [[Colin Grimshaw|Colin]] is trying to discharge himself from hospital, they decide that they have to do something to help him. It's clear that he wouldn't be able to cope alone but Colin's adamant that he's leaving. Julie's at a loss as to what to do but as he falls over trying to dress himself, Jason makes a decision to take him home with them.
-Meanwhile [[Paula Carp|Paula]]'s been to visit [[Eileen Grimshaw|Eileen]] to thank her for helping patch things up with Julie. They agree to rekindle their friendship but their plans are soon thrown when Colin arrives back on the Street. Eileen isn't happy to find her disgraced dad back in her home but lets him stay for one night.
-With [[Tara Mandal|Tara]]'s art installation now featuring in the ''[[Weatherfield Gazette|Gazette]]'', her revenge plan is complete and [[Dev Alahan|Dev]] is left thoroughly humiliated. He's also desperate to make amends with [[Amber Kalirai|Amber]], who's not returning his calls and is too embarrassed to attend college.
