Joe gives [[David Platt|David]] £500 to pay into the bank and surreptitiously gives the other £500 to the loan shark. [[Gail Platt|Gail]] asks some awkward questions but Joe's evasive. [[Dev Alahan|Dev]] tries to make things up with [[Amber Kalirai|Amber]] but she's unforgiving and refuses to listen to him. David flashes the £500 in front of [[Gary Windass|Gary]] making him think it's money he's made from selling the "stolen goods". Gary's impressed. Mary entertains Norris to dinner in the motorhome. Dressed in a negligee, Mary tries to flirt with Norris. He rushes his meal and leaves. Mary's crestfallen. Jason and [[Julie Carp|Julie]] go to visit [[Colin Grimshaw|Colin]] in [[Weatherfield General|hospital]]. They're horrified to find he's intent on discharging himself.
