Plot[]
Tina's blaming herself for the break-in but David's adamant she must testify in court to ensure the Windasses get their comeuppance. Ken's fretting about the dinner party. He tells Deirdre he'd made plans to go to the theatre. Deirdre's unimpressed. Eileen tells Steve he's done Jason a favour in the long run taking Becky off his hands as she's nothing but trouble. Gail goes through Joe's unpaid bills behind his back and writes out some cheques. She makes David promise not to tell Joe. Ashley notices that when Graeme wears Fred's old butcher's hat he has a habit of talking like Fred and repeating himself. Ken pays Martha a visit and apologises for the fact he won't be able to attend her opening night as he has to be at a dinner party. Martha's understanding. Leanne offers Michelle a job at the bookies. Michelle accepts the job just to annoy Steve. Gail asks Jason to bear Joe in mind for any more building work. Janice, Fiz, Sean and Kelly watch nervously as Julie marches into Tony's office. Julie tells Tony she can't choose one of her workmates so he'll have to sack her. But Tony's thwarted by the arrival of Luke Strong. Luke explains he's been hired by Carla to run the factory in her absence. Tony's speechless.
