Plot[]
Eileen finds Jason in bits having broken up with Becky. Becky calls to see Steve. She tells him that she's split up with Jason. Steve's delighted and proposes to her again. Becky accepts and Steve puts a ring on her finger. Unbeknown to Becky it's Michelle's old engagement ring. Len tries to win Ted round but Ted can see straight through him. Julie chides the factory girls for skiving. They wonder what's the matter with her. Julie admits to Fiz she's been ordered to sack one of them. Steve breaks the news to Liz that he and Becky are engaged and she's moving in. Michelle arrives back from Ireland. She and Maria go for a drink in the Rovers. Len tells Tina to stay away from the trial. Becky breaks the news to Roy and Hayley that she's leaving the cafe and moving into the Rovers to live and work with Steve. Roy's shocked realising how much he's going to miss her. Sally's mystified at Sophie wanting to join a Christian Youth Club but Kevin's supportive saying it's a great idea. Sophie's pleased at her dad's reaction. Becky's engagement ring is too big so Steve takes it back saying he'll drop it into the jewellers. Michelle comes face to face with Becky over the bar. Becky tells her that she's engaged to Steve and Michelle throws a drink over her.
