Plot[]
Becky's hung-over after her engagement celebrations. Jason's all loved-up. Kevin apologises to Sally for stopping out all night. He cooks lunch to try and make amends. Joe's pleased when he manages to sell some of his surplus stock. Becky's working in cafe. Jason wants to discuss wedding plans but it's obvious Becky's heart isn't really in it. Hayley clocks Becky's disinterest. Hayley quizzes Becky about her feelings for Jason. Becky admits Steve proposed to her too and she's torn between them.Janice tries to convince the factory girls she'd make a good nurse. They're not convinced.Sophie brings Ben home for lunch. She announces to Kevin and Sally that she's become a Christian and intends to remain celibate until she's married. Eddie tries to bribe David and Tina to stay away from the court case but to no avail. Hayley breaks the news to Steve that Becky has chosen Jason over him. Eileen, Becky and Jason celebrate their engagement over lunch. Eileen returns to work and Becky realises she can't go through with it. She hands her engagement ring back to a shocked Jason saying how sorry she is.
