Plot[]
The police question Tony suggesting Maria tried to kill him but Tony's adamant he didn't see a thing and it was an accident. Carla's furious with him. Ted arrives back from London and Ken's pleased to see him. The police tell Maria that they won't be pressing charges. Audrey's relieved. Leanne and Blanche continue to work together in the bookies. Blanche begrudgingly admits she likes Leanne and she's good for Peter. Tony summons Jed from Wigan. He makes him hide the marks on his neck with a scarf and frogmarches him into the Rovers. Emily's delighted to see him and hands over Sonny Jim the cat. Norris and Mary jointly win a motorhome in a competition. Mary suggests they have a few days away in Southport. Tony phones Maria telling her that he wants to talk to her in the Rovers. Maria is gobsmacked to see Jed alive and well. Maria rushes home feeling a total fool. Carla's curious to see Jed. Tony explains how he's given Jed a flat in Wigan as he felt guilty for chucking him out of his house. Carla's bemused. David delights in telling Kevin that Gary's been saying derogatory remarks about Rosie. David's pleased with himself. Tony bundles Jed out of the pub into a taxi and tells him never to step foot in Weatherfield again. Carla watches from a distance - her suspicions aroused.
