Plot[]
Maria races out of the factory closely followed by Tony. Maria tells Fiz and Emily how Tony has confessed to Jed's murder. Nobody believes her. Blanche spends the afternoon in the bookies winding Leanne up. Carla urges Tony to take an injunction out on Maria but Tony pretends he's sympathetic saying she needs to see a doctor. Maria implores Fiz to believe her story but to no avail. Fiz is deeply worried about her friend. The police question Gary over the burglary but there's no evidence against him. Joe finally returns to No.8. Gail's just relieved to have him home and insists they talk their problems through in future. Maria overhears Emily telling Fiz and Jason how Tony threw Jed out of his house. Jason's appalled remembering how Tony got him to board the house up. Maria sees this as further proof of Tony's guilt. Kevin and Sally are shocked to the core when Sophie tells them she's pregnant. However under pressure Sophie admits she's made the whole thing up as she just craved attention. Kevin and Sally feel like they've failed as parents. Eddie pretends he's been mugged and that they swiped all the darts team money. Anna knows he's lying and is quietly disgusted with him. Maria walks into the Rovers in her nightie and accuses Tony of killing Liam and Jed. It's clear everyone thinks she's mad.
