Plot[]
Liam arrives home with a hangover having spent the night at Carla's flat. Maria's furious. Becky's loved-up after spending the night with Jason. She urges Roy to let Jason back in the cafe but he refuses. Audrey leaves Maria in charge of the salon while she goes to meet Ted for lunch. Dan and Leanne are taken in for questioning by the police. Harry asks Dan if he torched the restaurant. Dan assures him that he didn't, although he knows who did. Maria unburdens herself to Marcus about Liam and Carla. Marcus is sympathetic but he's more concerned that Maria says her baby has stopped kicking. Marcus insists on taking Maria to hospital for a scan. Leanne gets a call from the insurance company to say they won't be paying out as Paul's admitted it was arson. Leanne's furious with Paul and accuses him of ruining everything just because she wouldn't sleep with him. The sonographer can't find a heartbeat and Marcus delivers the terrible news to Maria that her baby has died.
