Plot[]
Paul goes through with his confession, despite Dan highlighting the risks. Maria and Rita coax Audrey into calling Ted. She leaves an awkward message. Vernon is offered a job on a cruise for three weeks and wants Liz to go too. She tries to find excuses. Ted phones Audrey back and they arrange to meet at 1.30pm the following Monday. Julie meets Kirk's friends - she still thinks he is hilarious. Paul confesses. Jack is glad that Vera's not here to see that he is his father's son. Liam, Maria, Carla and Tony toast the unborn addition to the family. Dan has concocted the excuse Leanne needs - Paul was jealous of their relationship so he torched the restaurant. He convinces her it will work. Maria leaves the dinner party, urging Liam to stay but expecting him to follow. After an evening in the Rovers, Jason and Becky head to No.11 with takeout beers. She tells Jason to take things slowly and leaves, before knocking on the door again after a change of heart and jumping on him. Tony heads off for Beijing leaving Liam and Carla. Jack sips whisky and tells a worried Tyrone and Molly about Paul and the police. Liam is asleep on the sofa. Carla cancels the taxi she booked for him. He mumbles that he has to go home but falls asleep again. Carla leaves him on the sofa.
