Plot[]
Roy is removed from the building site, refusing to believe the bats have disappeared. David attends his probation meeting alone, despite Gail's desire to accompany him. Jason lets slip that he doesn't think the bats were harmed. Vernon wins on the horses. He tries to share his winnings, but Liz is not impressed. Jerry tries to persuade Darryl to come back to the shop. Mel sees how hurt Jerry is. Dan warns Leanne never to get caught up in gambling. Roy is convinced Jason is guilty. He and Becky turn him away from the cafe. Jason tells Tony he's dropped a clanger with Roy and the bats. David apologises to Ken. Deirdre doubts his sincerity. Tony confronts Roy about his bat suspicions. He says if Jason is banned none of the builders will visit the cafe. Roy won't back down. Liz gives Sean time off, but when Lauren asks she suggests she just leaves. Vernon and Liz try to reconcile their different stances on the money he won. Bill comes into the cafe to ask a customer to move their car as it is stopping work on the building site. Roy gets an idea and gets Ken to park his car legally, but in a place that is obstructing lorry access to the site.
