Plot

Sean's bereft realising he may never see his son again. Marcus tries to comfort him and gives him a framed photo of Sean holding Dylan. Dan promises Kelly an expensive night out. He arranges to meet her in the Rovers. Tina calls to see David but only stays a few minutes before flouncing out. David's gutted. Gail can see he's hurt and upset. Leanne tells Paul that she's fed up with running a back street restaurant and having no social life and no money. Paul tries to cheer her up. David shows his tattoo to Audrey. Audrey feels sorry for him and tells Gail about the tattoo. Gail's less sympathetic. Michelle spends the day with Alex and avoids Wendy's phone calls although she knows Alex is due to return home today. Sean realises there's no point chasing after Violet. He can only hope one day she changes her mind and contacts him. Harry chats up Kelly while she waits in the pub for Dan. Wendy storms into the pub looking for Alex. Michelle takes her into the back. Tina calls at No.8 again. Gail tells her to stop messing David around. Distraught Tina bursts into tears and confesses to Gail that she's pregnant.

[[Dan Mason|Dan]] promises [[Kelly Crabtree|Kelly]] an expensive night out. He arranges to meet her in the [[Rovers Return Inn|Rovers]]. [[Tina McIntyre|Tina]] calls to see [[David Platt|David]] but only stays a few minutes before flouncing out. David's gutted. [[Gail Platt|Gail]] can see he's hurt and upset. -Lovesick [[David Platt|David]] has been sulking after his lovers' tiff with [[Tina McIntyre|Tina]] and is delighted when she shows up at the house. However, when she storms out once again, devastated David's unsure about what he's done wrong. Although [[Gail Platt|Gail]] (Helen Worth) has reservations about Tina, she's aware David's fallen for her and is worried that being spurned could have serious consequences. Later, when she comes to the house while David's out, Gail takes the opportunity to request that Tina doesn't mess David about - he's more fragile than she realises. However, Tina becomes defensive and desperate to unburden and stuns Gail with the news that she's pregnant.
-[[Ryan Connor|Ryan]] is still unhappy at [[Alex Neeson|Alex]]'s continued presence at the [[Rovers Return Inn|Rovers]] but [[Steve McDonald|Steve]] is hopeful that [[Michelle Connor|Michelle]] will stick to the agreement and send Alex home that evening. Although Michelle knows Alex can't stay forever, she doesn't want him to leave and avoids [[Wendy Neeson|Wendy]]'s phone calls. However, when Wendy storms into the pub later that day furious that Michelle's been fobbing her off she demands her son back – now.
-Over at the Grimshaws', [[Sean Tully|Sean]] is still trying to come to terms with losing his child. As [[Marcus Dent|Marcus]] and [[Eileen Grimshaw|Eileen]] try to comfort him, they're worried about his determination to track down [[Jamie Baldwin|Jamie]] and [[Violet Wilson|Violet]]. Desperate, Sean starts coming up with far flung ways to find his baby and begs Marcus to look up the hospital records and risk losing his job. However, after a heart to heart with [[Ken Barlow|Ken]] he realises the futility of searching for them and admits that he's got to face facts: he may never see his son again.
-Elsewhere, [[Harry Mason|Harry]] ends up taking [[Kelly Crabtree|Kelly]] on the hot date she'd arranged with [[Dan Mason|Dan]], when he fails to show up, and Harry wastes no time in setting Kelly straight about who's the boss of the bookies.
