Plot[]
Rosie insists that John finishes with Fiz tonight, Christmas Eve. Chesney receives a Christmas present from Cilla in America. David refuses to attend the family Christmas Eve gathering and walks out of the house in a huff. Liam feels threatened in the Rovers by Tony as he orders in the drinks for the factory girls, Liam tries to better him. John psyches himself up to finish with Fiz. Gail is worried about the whereabouts of David, while Sarah plays along to Stephen Michelle talks to Nick and agrees to a DNA test but after Christmas. John tries to finish with Fiz but when she starts to cry he quickly backtracks and tells her that he loves her. Fiz is relieved. Stephen offers Sarah the job in Italy. Sarah's delighted that her plan has worked and assures him that Jason would look after Bethany. Sarah tells Jason they're emigrating to Milan in the New Year, Jason isn't happy. Becky arranges for she and Roy to have Christmas dinner with Kirk and Chesney in the cafe. Rosie confronts John about when he's going to dump Fiz. John insists it won't be until Christmas is out of the way. Rosie's not happy. Fiz tells John how lucky she is and how he's changed her life and that every day feels like Christmas Day. John's wracked with guilt.
