The scenes of the just-fallen train and the accompanying rubble on the street were all achieved in the studio and not on location. The majority of these scenes were recorded in the studio session that produced Episodes 668 and Episode 669. During the same session the final moments of this episode were recorded to save having to put up the sets for two weeks running and were probably directed by Michael Apted.
