[[Elsie Tanner|Elsie]] and [[Steve Tanner|Steve]] reminisce about the past. [[Stan Ogden|Stan]] discovers his Cup Final ticket is worth £10. Elsie takes Steve to the [[Rovers Return Inn|Rovers]] where he meets everyone, including [[Dennis Tanner|Dennis]]. She keeps telling him she's a grandmother and tells him she can't see him again. [[David Barlow|David]] gets another ticket. He gives it to [[Hilda Ogden|Hilda]]. Stan sells his ticket to [[Mike Ridehalgh]] for £10. He plans to have a day out on the money. The residents are horrified when a train crashes through the viaduct onto the [[Coronation Street (Weatherfield)|street]].

Plot

Dot finds out from Val that Elsie has gone out with Steve. The two walk through woodland and reminisce about happy times in the war. He tells her that he's not married when questioned on the subject. David promises to try and get another Cup Final ticket for Jerry. Hilda blames David for Irma being laid up. Stan discovers from Jack that his ticket is worth £10 and car park attendant Mike Ridehalgh might be interested in buying. Elsie takes Steve to the Rovers where he meets everyone, including Dennis.
