Plot[]
Sean and Violet are excitedly discussing their baby when Eileen arrives back home from her dirty weekend in Scarborough with Pat. She's full of the joys of spring. Cilla's furious to receive a phone call from Mr Wong telling her that he's closing down the chippy and she's out of work. It's Chesney's 13th birthday. He gets a collar and a lead for Schmeichel. He goes to put them on the dog only to find he's been stolen from the back yard of No.5. Ashley and Claire pussyfoot round each other both trying hard to say the right thing. Sean blabs to Jamie about Violet's pregnancy. Steve arrives back from Spain. He's upset that Michelle still hasn't been in touch. Cilla bad-mouths Jerry's Takeaway to anyone who'll listen. She blames Jerry and Jodie for the closure of the chippy. Liz tells Steve she had an affair but Vernon forgave her. Steve's unimpressed. Steve and Eileen console each other; he's upset about Michelle and Eileen's fed up with people judging her for going out with a married man. Jamie has a go at Violet for rushing into pregnancy with Sean. Violet's annoyed with Jamie and even more so with Sean for blabbing their secret.
