Plot[]

Freddie's 1st birthday party takes place. Claire takes little interest and Ashley's frustration with her grows as he looks after the guests. Casey turns up to apologise. After a heart-to-heart, Claire invites her in. Ashley admits to Kevin he's starting to wonder if his marriage will survive. Liz finds Vernon in the cafe. She begs him to give her another chance and tells him how sorry she is but Vernon's disbelieving. Liz asks Lloyd if Vernon can stay in the spare room in his flat and offers to secretly pay him. Roger and Janice go for a meal at Valandro's. They're concerned that it doesn't seem very busy but Leanne remains upbeat. Cilla calls in the restaurant looking for a job but Leanne gives her short shrift. Kirk tells Jason and Sarah how a customer gave him a fake £50 note and nicked a leg of lamb. Liam gives Joanne her job back at the factory. Joanne's delighted. Everyone's pleased to see Jack's back on his feet and propping up the Rovers' bar.
