Plot[]

Ashley's annoyed when he discovers Claire's been at the police station seeing if they're any closer to catching the arsonist rather than preparing the house for Freddie's 1st birthday party. Claire accuses Ashley of thinking her mad and storms out. Liz is fretting about Vernon. She feels terrible about what she's done and wants him back. Cilla and Yana - wearing fish and chip hats - continue to hand out leaflets in an attempt to drum up trade at Wong's Chippy but Yana reckons it's a waste of time and suggests Cilla should get a job at Leanne's restaurant instead. Liam pops in the salon and gets Maria to cut his hair. They flirt with each other. Vernon's spent the night in a chair in the cab office. He's upset and depressed as he tells Lloyd how he's just a laughing stock and he thought Liz was different. Liam finds out from the factory girls that Carla's sacked Joanne. He's furious with her but Carla finds it amusing. Kirk leaves a customer by themselves in the butchers while he goes to change a £50 note at the cafe. Roy points out the note is a fake. Liz finds out that Vernon's in the cafe. She goes in search of him.
