Plot[]
Cilla's fed up as everything in No.5 is falling apart. Kevin, Sally and the girls have a day out to Blackpool. Cilla doesn't want to go to work. Les has to force her out of the door. Danny and Frankie have lunch at Mike's flat. Penny joins them and is upset, explaining that her house has been burgled. Mel Hutchwright continues to scrounge drinks. He sucks up to Fred and Norris, saying he's named two of the heroes in his novel after them. Cilla finds working in Wong's Chippy stressful as Eileen and Janice continue to poke fun at her. Les buys Cilla a second-hand sunbed to cheer her up. Cilla's delighted. Mel dupes Roy into giving him a free lunch in the cafe. Candice prepares for an interview for an eye-in-the-sky traffic reporter's job. She stands on a stepladder with a map spread out on the carpet. Cilla has a brainwave. She tells Les to propose to her so they can replace all their knackered household appliances with new ones as wedding presents. Les and Cilla get engaged.
