Plot[]
Todd's delighted at the birth of his baby but upset that they won't let him see him without Sarah's permission. Sally's determined to turn the garage into a gold mine to raise money to send the girls to Oakhill School and suggests various improvements they could make. Kevin's fed up with her interfering. Mike's impressed that Danny's got the girls eating out of his hand. Blanche is convinced that Tracy's going to stay in Portsmouth and as she doesn't want to live alone she moves back into No.1 with Ken and Deirdre. Todd visits Sarah in hospital but she screams at him to go away and security hustle him out. Todd's broken hearted and desperate to see baby Billy. Sonia and Bev try to chat up Danny but he's only interested in Sunita. Audrey tries to convince Gail to let Todd be involved with Billy's upbringing, as unlike Neil Fearns he wants to be involved. The discussion is interrupted when the baby's condition suddenly worsens. As Todd feels sorry for himself, Audrey phones and tells him to come immediately, however an excited Todd hangs up and leaves for the hospital before she can give further details. Todd arrives at the hospital happy at the prospect of seeing his baby and sees Sarah cradling their son. Audrey explains that the baby has died. Todd's devastated.
