Plot[]
Vik goes to see Peter and demands that Peter wipe out his gambling debt and allow him £1,000 credit. Peter feels he has no choice but to agree. Sally takes a day off sick from work to be with Alex Jordan. They go to buy paint together and then go for lunch in the park. Sally tells Alex all about her relationship with Kevin, and confesses to Alex that she fancies him. Tommy starts putting the pressure on Angela to get a job as he is convinced that she needs to get out of the house. He tells her that there's a job going at Underworld. Peter talks to Lucy about Vik's blackmailing of him. Lucy says that he should call his bluff and if he does tell Shelley just deny everything. Peter takes Lucy's advice. Vik is angry when Peter tells him there's no deal. Vik tells Shelley that Peter's got another woman and went to a casino with her. Peter tells Shelley that he was there, but the said woman was just an excited, drunk hen who'd won some money and kissed him in celebration. He tells her Vik is a desperate gambling addict. Shelley believes him. Sally and Alex admit that they are infatuated with each other but realise they can't do anything about it as they both have other people. Joe tells Mike about a huge deal that he's in the process of clinching with "Una's Undies", aka Fletchers. Peter tells Vik that he's sold his debts on to somebody else and that the new creditors won't be quite so patient. Vik is seriously worried.
