Notes[]

  • This special Thursday episode was transmitted at 8.00pm.
  • The end credits of this episode roll over Curly Watts and Emma Taylor in the yard of 7 Coronation Street instead of the usual ITV corporate sequence. However, it appears the episode was produced with both sequences, as the ITV3 repeat of this episode on 13th May 2022 used the latter instead.
  • TV Times synopsis: Linda is tormented by her loss, and Emma faces the repercussions of her actions.
  • Viewing Figures: UK broadcast - 14,740,000 viewers (6th place - combined figure including repeat).
  • The aforementioned ITV3 repeat was also edited to remove a brief shot of Dean Sykes's bloodied hand and later a close-up of him going into cardiac arrest in the ambulance, as well as Lenny Larkin calling Fred Elliott "fat man".
