Plot
Steve finds one of the old houses has Victorian fireplaces in it. He talks Pat into ripping them out and selling them without telling Duggie. Linda urges Mark not to lose what he's got or make Mike unhappy by leaving. Whilst retrieving his ball from a builders' skip, David falls and cuts himself. He's taken to hospital where Martin patches him up. Martin introduces him to Rebecca, who befriends him. Amy returns with her wrists bandaged and tells Leanne how she went to Colwyn Bay and tried to kill herself and has lost her baby. Mark agrees to stay around when Linda apologises to him for pushing herself and assures him she'll be content with just being his friend. He is relieved. Dev is glad to see Amy back, still alive, but refuses to believe she tried to kill herself. Mike is delighted that Mark is staying.
