Plot

Ken's convinced that Deirdre must be in love with someone and, exasperated by his attitude, she packs and leaves to live with Liz. Alec catches Jack smoking. He swears on his pigeons' lives to quit for good. Zoe attempts to track down Liam Shepherd for Shannon's funeral, but he fails to turn up. Zoe and Ashley stay at the church after the funeral to say goodbye privately. Back at No.4, Shannon's death causes Gail to comfort Leanne. When Zoe and Ashley return to the house, she's appalled to find a house-full of people apparently enjoying themselves. She accuses everyone of prying but later realises they meant well. When Ashley comforts her, she tells him about the plans she had for Shannon; to give her a better upbringing than she had herself. Ashley hugs her as she breaks down and cries for her daughter.
