Plot[]
Ken starts to become more mobile. Deirdre thinks she went too far last night and tells Ken he's welcome to stay until he can cope on his own. Andy isn't ready for Paula to meet his family. Don warns Jack that he'll often be needed at the undertaker's at short notice. Jack interrogates Ken for details of his bad back for future reference so he can pull a sickie from the Rovers when required. Betty advises Jim to get Liz back behind the bar without delay as Raquel begins to enjoy her job. Ken and Deirdre open their decrees absolute together. They tell Tracy that they are now officially divorced. She seems to take it well. Mike tells Alma that she can't hide behind Ken any more now that he and Deirdre are back together. Alma tells him he knows nothing and throws him out of the cafe in front of everyone. Steve follows Andy when he meets Paula and forces Andy to introduce him. Derek and Mavis plan to invite Ted Sullivan for a meal in the hope that he'll recommend Derek for his job. Vera tells Alma about the Barlows' divorce. Mike refuses to take no for an answer, telling Alma he knows she was only trying to save face earlier. She calls him pathetic. Steve tries to chat up Paula. Annoyed, Andy drags Paula away when Steve goes to the bar. Paula assures him that Steve is not threat to him. Ken and Deirdre celebrate their amicable divorce with champagne. Tracy tells them that she's got nothing to celebrate; coming from a broken home.
