PlotEdit

Angie thinks Curly is acting too much like a boyfriend and tells him to back off. Des asks Angie out for a drink but she turns him down. Ivy and Don view a house in Fletcher Street, with a garden. Gail believes that Martin is looking for an excuse to go back to work as he's tired of being a house husband. Reg sends Curly to offer the position of Bettabuy Santa to Percy, hoping to gain favour with Rita. Alf refuses to decorate the Corner Shop until 1st December but changes his mind when he discovers the other local shops already have their decorations up. Percy tells Curly he can't be Santa as Emily needs him at the charity shop. Emily is too late with her news that she's taken on another volunteer to replace him. Alma flies off the handle when Mike comes in and tells her how to run the cafe. She feels she can't handle him being her landlord. Reg decides to ask Percy himself when Curly tells him that he wasn't interested. Percy changes his mind about being Santa when Mavis hints that he wouldn't be tolerant enough with the children. Angie goes out with Des in order to show Curly that she doesn't belong to him. Martin offers £38,000 for No.8 without looking round it. Gail is horrified. Percy agrees to work for Bettabuy on the condition that he's presented as "Father Christmas" rather than German "Santa Claus". Alma makes Ken kiss her in the Street in front of Mike.
