Plot[]
Don continues to go through the motions with Ivy. Mavis sets up the Christmas display in The Kabin window. Percy thinks it's too early. Mike gets Kevin to drive the Jaguar when he ignores his instructions and wears his suit to the auction, refusing to dress down. Vicky writes to Alec saying that she's spending Christmas with a friend. Alec is adamant she's coming home. Ivy rows with Vera at Bettabuy when Vera lectures her about pushing Don too hard. They make up after Curly intervenes. Vicky gets round Alec by saying that her friend Suzanne's dad is a posh doctor. Kevin enjoys himself at the auction. Mark is furious when Kevin buys all the best equipment at rock-bottom prices. Ivy finds racing tickets in Don's suit pocket when she takes it to the dry-cleaners. She rings Don's work and confirms that he took his day off yesterday. The Christmas stock is late at the cash and carry so Rita tells Mavis to take down the display. Mavis refuses so Rita tricks Percy into volunteering by saying he's convinced her to put it up closer to Christmas. Mark accuses Kevin of stitching him up and leaving him unable to pay his debts. Mike, Kevin and Sally drink a glass of champagne to MVB Motors. Ivy confronts Don with the racing tickets. She accuses him of being addicted to gambling. He tells her that he's tired of being "good old Don" and doesn't care what she thinks.
