Audrey is disappointed that Alf hasn't done anything to get her back. Mavis is happy with the sunlounger but Derek promises her a better one with the compensation. Deirdre isn't enjoying working for Phil as he doesn't share any responsibility or give out his whereabouts. Alma puzzles over the cafe's landlord being Alcazar Holdings. Des tells her that 'alcazar' is Spanish for castle. Ken gets short shrift when he asks Deirdre why she's going to Mike's wedding. Audrey finds Alf's safe at 5 Grasmere Drive is empty. She is startled to find Phyllis cleaning the house. Alma remembers that Mike's petrol station is in Alcazar in Spain. Afraid of her knowing the truth, Gail tells her that she's jumping to conclusions. Alf is pleased that Audrey is desperate for money. Derek makes amends with Mavis but won't change his mind about the compensation. Audrey feels that everyone is laughing at her and breaks down. She's bitter that she's having to lean on Gail and Alma when she's entitled to half of Alf's money. Gail tells her to stop playing games and talk to Alf. Derek is foiled again when Des has a new fence erected. He returns the sunlounger to Des in the Rovers but he refuses to accept it. Vivian Barford tries to console Alf over his marital problems, interrupting his bath. Audrey arrives home to return to Alf but doesn't stop when she sees Vivian and Alf in his dressing gown.
