Plot[]
Vera is confused about her past, thinking about her father - or who she thought was her father. She finds old photos of Joss Shackleton among her mother's possessions and thinks this confirms that he's her real dad but Jack thinks he's a fraud. Alec wants to open a club with Phil and have his acts perform there. Bet doesn't want him getting in too deep with Phil as he might be crooked. Robert Weston worries as Jenny shows him off more and more and brazenly visits him at his surgery for the first time. Jenny thinks he's going off her but he instead tells her that he loves her and is going to leave his wife Linda. Deirdre officially opens the charity shop and is interviewed by a journalist. Bet is surprised when Phil asks her to run the club; Alec never said anything. Percy puts customers off at the charity shop with his heavy-handedness. Alec doesn't want Bet as manager as he thinks it's a man's job. Jack brings Betty over to boost Vera's spirits and they find Joss inspecting No.9. Vera introduces him as her father. Angie tells Rita that she's moving out. When Jenny tells Rita that she's made a mess of her own life, Rita calls her a selfish bitch. Rita reminds Jenny that No.7 is hers and tells her that Robert moves in over her dead body.
