Plot[]
Jack is upset that Curly is leaving him alone with Vera on Christmas Day. Mike is annoyed when Jackie deals with an important client without him. His sudden attentiveness has allayed Alma's fears of him having an affair with Jackie. Derek feels that Victor is avoiding him when he cancels their monthly executive meetings. He worries about his future at Pendlebury Paper Products. Jim plans a family Christmas but Jack tells Liz that Alec will want her to work. Audrey is glad that Ivy and Don are having Marie over for Christmas as it means she won't have to spend the day with them. Gail is angry when Martin drinks in the Rovers with Kevin and forgets to pick her up. Alma treats Mike to a home-cooked meal. Steph has accepted the offer of running the promos. Jim tells Alec that Liz won't be working on Christmas Day. Derek tells Mavis that Victor is going to reorganise the business. He's certain he's going to be fired.
