Plot[]
Clive Parnell, promotions manager for the brewery, tells the Gilroys they're to have a promo night for Pomme de Lite cider. Des is pleased as Steph doesn't know where the promo is. Ken finds out from Tracy that Phil didn't go to London with Deirdre. Phil makes up with Deirdre and promises to take her somewhere better than London. Mavis is shocked when Victor introduces her to Yvonne, his wife. She's a dead ringer for Mavis and just as dithering. Steph and Jenny are forced to do the promo in the Rovers when Clive threatens to fire them and not pay them. Des fills the pub with mates to embarrass Steph. She hits back by flirting with the customers. Mike and Jackie have a date but Mike doesn't stay the night as he doesn't want to make Alma suspicious. Victor tells Derek that he married Yvonne because she is so like Mavis. Des demands Steph's resignation and threatens to hit her boss. In defiance she does a striptease, causing him to walk out. Mavis hates Yvonne. She thinks she has no personality and is offended that Victor thinks they're alike.
