Plot[]
Kevin returns to the garage to work his notice. He angrily refuses when Mark asks him to work on Sunday as they're behind on the work. Alec has an ear infection and the doctor tells him that he can't fly - the holiday is off. Mark tries to be friendly to Kevin, who remains standoffish with him and works through his tea break. Mark is unhappy with the way things have turned out and tells Sally he wishes he'd never been given the garage. Deirdre agrees to a date with Phil Jennings to discuss his donation to the school. Sally makes Kevin realise that Mark is missing their friendship. Alec tells Bet he didn't take out insurance when he booked the holiday. He's hurt when she decides to go to Madeira without him. Jenny starts work with Steph. She agrees to a Sunday in Bakewell with Des, Steph and Mark. Kevin makes it up with Mark and agrees to work on Sunday. Phil takes Deirdre to a high-class restaurant. She makes it clear that she can't be bought but enjoys herself. Bet agrees to stay behind with Alec; they'll sell the tickets. Mark tells Jenny he can't go out with her on Sunday because of work. She tells him to get Kevin to do the work causing Sally to row with her. Sally accuses Jenny of being a gold-digger.
