Plot[]

Alec is unhappy at having to pay for a holiday and takes it out on the staff. Jenny refuses to go to Mark's party. Deirdre rows with Alma for letting kids play the fruit machine in the cafe. Mike doesn't like the way Sandra Rogers stands up to him. Alec reminds Bet that they were supposed to tighten their belts because of the endowment policy he took out. Phil Jennings calls on Deirdre and tells her that his company, PJ Leisure, owns the amusement arcade. He tells her underage children shouldn't be in the arcade and convinces her that he's on her side. Mike sacks Sandra for not doing things his way. Phil charms Deirdre. She thinks he's just trying to get her off his back. Angie and Sally talk Jenny into the party. Phil agrees to put signs up refusing admission to under 16's. Sandra tells Jackie that Mike thinks he's running the factory. Jackie tells her that she'll deal with him. All the youngsters at the party make Sally and Gail feel old. Rita worries about Jenny as she hasn't shown any interest in getting a job. Tom Casey announces that he's giving the garage to Mark as a birthday present. Kevin is horrified at the thought of the youngster being his boss.
